I finished another quilt for Amber last week. It was one that she has worked on for quite awhile off and on (what with the move and all). It was one that she wanted to give to Kerry. She thought he would particularly enjoy it and so chose an extra soft batt so that it would have that all important "Hug" factor. Hope he enjoys it!Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553232658188696074.post-35740902011538467432013-05-28T15:51:00.003-06:002013-05-28T15:51:43.550-06:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB140vggwHRKkGq7Brx-A1O4A073riO_k_fswkx9TaaMphM45oQfe9ppiPWoG0pvFH94CwwH8eABMWX61-WnNz2Unri9XvG1WHqxVqadX_FvyTlGZOyGJya_pQ7a5j6CX6-THnIh3XCg/s1600/star+quilt+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB140vggwHRKkGq7Brx-A1O4A073riO_k_fswkx9TaaMphM45oQfe9ppiPWoG0pvFH94CwwH8eABMWX61-WnNz2Unri9XvG1WHqxVqadX_FvyTlGZOyGJya_pQ7a5j6CX6-THnIh3XCg/s320/star+quilt+2.jpg" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV3k0oGeGz_OhMhZaqfM36OSLqKDLzyv4FCK8BhvZHyHbl9qYFSelQyaPAsbnaTzexit_ixp3ZABFA-MlhOMaR9ksZSEax5kkbdvEqF9J_ay1W5j9FpQ_nk0rH9e0im8b0CR3ikc3vEw/s1600/star+quilt.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjV3k0oGeGz_OhMhZaqfM36OSLqKDLzyv4FCK8BhvZHyHbl9qYFSelQyaPAsbnaTzexit_ixp3ZABFA-MlhOMaR9ksZSEax5kkbdvEqF9J_ay1W5j9FpQ_nk0rH9e0im8b0CR3ikc3vEw/s320/star+quilt.jpg" /></a>
Amber to the rescue. These are two pictures posted on the APQS website and taken by Dawn Cavanaugh at the show. I'm glad Amber put them on her blog so I could get them on mine. It was such fun to work on such a beautiful quilt and such a thrill to get a ribbon!! I'd say we make a pretty good team.Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553232658188696074.post-89804843644028138522013-05-22T22:54:00.002-06:002013-05-22T23:12:17.931-06:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCUZQHc3rQ58tEe9OU18rhyphenhyphen6jKp1BQCbcjKffsvkFOnzO5F1OtDopMHYAE80zE30hLbDTOWUaM_hK8zRakYlkT9gzrw73Kea7acKlQLR_3QizQB5xm_LJsOLGeUvcMsXnm49cJopyiHw/s1600/Finished05.JPG" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCUZQHc3rQ58tEe9OU18rhyphenhyphen6jKp1BQCbcjKffsvkFOnzO5F1OtDopMHYAE80zE30hLbDTOWUaM_hK8zRakYlkT9gzrw73Kea7acKlQLR_3QizQB5xm_LJsOLGeUvcMsXnm49cJopyiHw/s320/Finished05.JPG" /></a>
Well, I regret to say that I don't have any pictures of our beautiful red
star quilt all finished and hanging at HMQS with a ribbon on it. It was a very exciting moment! We received a "Teacher's Choice" ribbon and boy were we pleased. Both of us tried to get our cameras there and when that failed we even borrowed a camera, but the fates were not with us, and we came away with no picture. How disappointing! However, we were not disappointed in the results of our efforts. There is nothing quite so rewarding as walking down that long isle and seeing your quilt in the distance and then realizing that it has a ribbon on it! How fun!Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553232658188696074.post-42160803492038875722012-07-30T22:01:00.001-06:002012-07-30T22:23:45.682-06:00Final Stages<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Add a few details, remove all the blue markings, finish the borders,feather all the scollops and (only three months from start to finish)I am DONE! What a lot of fun! What a lot or work! What a great feeling to have been part of creating something so beautiful!

I have done larger quilts, but not anything with more designing, planning, sewing, unsewing, resewing and so forth. I told my daughter that I wanted her to design a quilt with lots of quilting space so that I could actually design and try things that I have never been able to do before because this kind of quilting is out of the norm that usually is done on customer quilts. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZGBJyEwIQAsPBx58p8qeK6kacAv9B_4IW_m5wwxPGexBBHLSfwbaeVX-JGxwr2HOtW9GQ-rV0wCiqQjeMXoFAV39XWJNqScaLbU2tThB8gJvFvMoSlJjjcw-7EkxADseR6Df1uES6rg/s1600/021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="240" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZGBJyEwIQAsPBx58p8qeK6kacAv9B_4IW_m5wwxPGexBBHLSfwbaeVX-JGxwr2HOtW9GQ-rV0wCiqQjeMXoFAV39XWJNqScaLbU2tThB8gJvFvMoSlJjjcw-7EkxADseR6Df1uES6rg/s320/021.JPG" /></a></div>
Here is the first step with the loading of the back of the quilt. This back was one of the challenges of the quilt. The back is red and the front is cream. That presents a challenge with two different colors of thread - red on the back and off white on the front. I learned a lot about tension that I had never really had to learn before. Fun!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgxKOoOkj6O7hRe6R3ocHXqn8O62flqUZbYjHOz05v9DbkkzZj-ei7_zsKu5enXgKVNMbXv_7wFFVmXEBty-f3wjMIck8DaMqoSGICVH4j2kuqtj7DIQVm2DKz4_pLE7zq0u5sApVMiQ/s1600/009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="240" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgxKOoOkj6O7hRe6R3ocHXqn8O62flqUZbYjHOz05v9DbkkzZj-ei7_zsKu5enXgKVNMbXv_7wFFVmXEBty-f3wjMIck8DaMqoSGICVH4j2kuqtj7DIQVm2DKz4_pLE7zq0u5sApVMiQ/s320/009.JPG" /></a></div>
Then the design work started. It was so fun. I decided to make the stars the center of each block and design aroung that.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuk87dI16MrUtPvhVnbZxpL7pDxwFZ4RqfF1rpn3g_tr6Z8CrwGFJRJR2Lx27bBKdvix1e5fgWXYwPc7mi7rVt377wv5R8uDPIF3P38_rp515lNQLQPZxVtpC6VC60oDUEq0PaF3M29Q/s1600/011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="240" width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuk87dI16MrUtPvhVnbZxpL7pDxwFZ4RqfF1rpn3g_tr6Z8CrwGFJRJR2Lx27bBKdvix1e5fgWXYwPc7mi7rVt377wv5R8uDPIF3P38_rp515lNQLQPZxVtpC6VC60oDUEq0PaF3M29Q/s320/011.JPG" /></a></div>
From there is was just completing one area at a time and trying to keep all the design elements balanced and coordinated so that the quilt looked like a harmonious whole. There were times when a whole new area had to be redesigned so that it looked right.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Actually finished a little quilt for me this last couple of months. I wanted to try curved crosshatching on it. I had never done it before, and even tho it did not turn out perfect by any means, I was pleased with the way it finished up.
I really learned a lot on this quilt, and it is so beautiful. My daughter made the top and she has a real talent with color. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Well, about time to post again. I know I say every time that I am going to be better, and then I'm not, so I won't say it this time. I finished three little quilts for the same customer that the froggy quilt was for. She is expecting three new grandchildren this summer. The first one was a girl, then next was a boy and the last one she didn't know yet, but she did have all the quilts finished ahead of time, although the first one was finished just in time.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The last one was really fun. If I ever have a great grandson, I hope I can find the same material. I loved it.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

When you look at the back, you see froggies, froggies, froggies and the lilly pads they love to jump on all over the place. What fun!<br />

I did a quilt for her earlier this year and it was a jungle theme. It was fun to quilt and is one of those stack and whack kind. I loved it. I have quilted some others for her grandchildren this year. They are supposed to be Christmas presents. I think they will love it. Kids always love cuddly minke quilts. Just wish I had remembered to take pictures.</div>Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553232658188696074.post-88411475420978088922011-09-23T23:07:00.005-06:002011-10-12T17:25:33.298-06:00Wow! Does Time Fly!<div>I can't believe how long it has been since I posted anything. Life just seems to keep on rolling along, even if you wish it would slow down a little. My husband retired, and that seems to have taken time with the planning and all. We went to a family reunion and planned on an extended vacation, but then he hurt his knee and had to have surgery and needless to say that has kept me extra busy.<br /><br />Inbetween all the regular life stuff I have quilted some fun quilts and just haven't had time to post them. I did a couple of Cancer quilts. The first was for a lady who pieced the top last year and I volunteered to quilt it for her. It was kind of fun to do.</div><div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5qbzWXekcGqVQZsgpSZfNNx2ysgeUz6FW6QM_829RUawAs-_-maq5DZ7rixJtijO7tffCzBEa76P1xw3yy0oXS-GuYeLpnW-SMcaVsDKyfDN2NrSyGFLGy3xcAX14Z4By4qRDmDGLxw/s1600/July+2011+Misc+062.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px 0px 10px 10px; width: 200px; height: 150px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655790105655557746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5qbzWXekcGqVQZsgpSZfNNx2ysgeUz6FW6QM_829RUawAs-_-maq5DZ7rixJtijO7tffCzBEa76P1xw3yy0oXS-GuYeLpnW-SMcaVsDKyfDN2NrSyGFLGy3xcAX14Z4By4qRDmDGLxw/s200/July+2011+Misc+062.JPG" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9RPYRaUQRxLycyilr5-7MIa3H1WGq9bQETPqwfU-GCwBUtmKIsjVBGPK0OzzQfxKyAA2w3jMzeA5YT6WcvjRdqFQHzu3UQ_YnI2bX6S7VgTdZ_PJv9XYASzRTRWG3Zq0S00JPNEzw-Q/s1600/July+2011+Misc+064.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px 0px 10px 10px; width: 200px; height: 150px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655790687354082802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9RPYRaUQRxLycyilr5-7MIa3H1WGq9bQETPqwfU-GCwBUtmKIsjVBGPK0OzzQfxKyAA2w3jMzeA5YT6WcvjRdqFQHzu3UQ_YnI2bX6S7VgTdZ_PJv9XYASzRTRWG3Zq0S00JPNEzw-Q/s200/July+2011+Misc+064.JPG" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFo3LLLIMbZe90eVShTY_JGn9b7PRACeoWR0oinucQUJgynpK1E5784jr3X021Rm1TxMmiOBuqUcAXIyPB1d5DelcFFj2_CK9FHl7iU_P3VFq7WbQIrqnS4bdFclbl4HjMCqZGMh9bhg/s1600/July+2011+Misc+067.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px 0px 10px 10px; width: 200px; height: 150px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655792299084241778" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFo3LLLIMbZe90eVShTY_JGn9b7PRACeoWR0oinucQUJgynpK1E5784jr3X021Rm1TxMmiOBuqUcAXIyPB1d5DelcFFj2_CK9FHl7iU_P3VFq7WbQIrqnS4bdFclbl4HjMCqZGMh9bhg/s200/July+2011+Misc+067.JPG" /></a></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>My daughter and I also quilted a quilt together again this year. I loved the color combination. This quilter really has an eye for color. Not many quilters will choose to put purple and orange and lime green together, but this quilt turned out to be really eye catching. I hope the bride likes it as much as her mother and I did.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi35ZLrAgqc-4zFxD6RZk6eMfidiOsmmaDkrQwjn33SKtVZuHCl1YhjY4w6NojkESOQF5jhp1YAGrniX87pjOynw6hLwnx2ObOpAgiyi7egW2SZsSTTSs_fZQDRHxwBLD5lB1zDPxvBzw/s1600/Mary+Jo%27s+wedding+quilt+004.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi35ZLrAgqc-4zFxD6RZk6eMfidiOsmmaDkrQwjn33SKtVZuHCl1YhjY4w6NojkESOQF5jhp1YAGrniX87pjOynw6hLwnx2ObOpAgiyi7egW2SZsSTTSs_fZQDRHxwBLD5lB1zDPxvBzw/s320/Mary+Jo%27s+wedding+quilt+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5500630998854904482" /></a><br /><br />It is a king size, or a queensize bedspread, so it was about as big as I can put on my machine. Somehow, I thought that once all my children were married and gone I would have more time to do whatever. Not so! We seem to spend most of our lives thinking that Life is going to change; get slower or better or happier or whatever. You'd think that we would learn a little sooner that life is just life and that we'd better be happier now, or make time for whatever now, or slow down and enjoy it more NOW!!! Well, enough sharing my great wisdom with all of you. On to the quilt.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDEHDVUmMu6Ow3LmMluEOBIk8yDLzhIu2Wq12khGd-TXN7siIP6WbeOQBkZzQexykO6Y-plx0zqMzwQcPI09aTYtEzak-UlgeVKQ3ksNubznefMYjac1iFt3XItdgMTp8LIsKugt_8Rw/s1600/Washington+trip+10+028.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5499345827606323810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDEHDVUmMu6Ow3LmMluEOBIk8yDLzhIu2Wq12khGd-TXN7siIP6WbeOQBkZzQexykO6Y-plx0zqMzwQcPI09aTYtEzak-UlgeVKQ3ksNubznefMYjac1iFt3XItdgMTp8LIsKugt_8Rw/s320/Washington+trip+10+028.JPG" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0UT5RajCQaVwfZ1R14tgAkvdre7YaFil7HIoC_Ro9ouiiddOdqhxQZGqdrq9WVQ4HIz5SYbm5YxvBspCMA9iIy4zEmadRUdgkTDB6Zo0tdzFhZmrAIxVCSHJKt2Q3095aVoo9aywkCg/s1600/Washington+trip+10+030.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5499346273321172114" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0UT5RajCQaVwfZ1R14tgAkvdre7YaFil7HIoC_Ro9ouiiddOdqhxQZGqdrq9WVQ4HIz5SYbm5YxvBspCMA9iIy4zEmadRUdgkTDB6Zo0tdzFhZmrAIxVCSHJKt2Q3095aVoo9aywkCg/s320/Washington+trip+10+030.JPG" /></a><br /><br />I finished another quilt in the last little while and really liked the way it turned out. What Fun!
<br />Last week was a lot of fun for me. I attended the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake City. It is a national show that comes in May every year and I have attended the last three years. I love to volunteer and help the judges judge all the quilts. It is fun to hear their comments and see all the awe inspiring quilts. I mostly enter mine because if everyone waited to quilt prize winning quilts before they entered, there would be very little to look at, so I enter but never hold my breath.
<br />
<br />This year I entered a quilt challenge. A quilt challenge works several different ways, but this one was sponsored by Sew Batik Fabric. The sponsor furnished the fabrics and the pattern and everyone had to piece the same exact quilt. It was about 39" x 39". Then each quilter got to quilt the piece any way she wanted. I thought the fabric was beautiful and so quilted it quite simply to enhance the fabric and not use it as an opportunity to showcase my quilting. My belief as a quilter is that my job is to make the quilt look the very best that I can, and so that is what I set out to do.
<br />
<br />Then Thursday when the show opened, I headed for the exhibit to see what everyone else's quilt looked like. There were 18 of the exact same quilt, but what a difference there was. Wow! Did they ever go all out. There were elaborate borders and crystals and all sorts of things. I looked at them and figured that my chances were just blown out of the water. Oh Well.
<br />
<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuN3QWFmMYTnjDKO27ALhG5pHep4hyphenhyphen7rq5bsRzfKjwV9J2eCQK2UGL64yJffIKSRKL4MAoD-BrxvcrktTSSA2WU6nx2Q-nShxFcu4g0EXgILR-HqzXWmkPaBbrb1GHIfh0RPyUMYJGgQ/s1600/002.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuN3QWFmMYTnjDKO27ALhG5pHep4hyphenhyphen7rq5bsRzfKjwV9J2eCQK2UGL64yJffIKSRKL4MAoD-BrxvcrktTSSA2WU6nx2Q-nShxFcu4g0EXgILR-HqzXWmkPaBbrb1GHIfh0RPyUMYJGgQ/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5471157396420800322" /></a>
<br />
<br />Thursday evening was the awards ceremony and I was totally floored when I won first place. I couldn't believe it! I got to go up on the stage and claim my ribbon and the whole thing! Amazing! I guess the sponsor appreciated being able to enjoy the beauty of the fabric. I'm glad that the sponsor was a judge and not a quilt judge as the quilt definitely had some weak areas in that regard, but it was certainly exciting to be able to bring home a ribbon.

<br />Here is a detail of what I quilted. You can see that it was quite simple. It was the first time I ever quilted feathers. Some of them turned out pretty nice and others looked like they could use a little help. I guess we are out own worse critic. Lee said it was an amazing quilt. Needless to say, he is my best fan. It must be one of the reasons that I love him.Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553232658188696074.post-41029313121689207692010-05-14T09:43:00.004-06:002010-05-14T09:50:54.351-06:00Time to Post<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyh1Wev2lzlX4TJN4-fmslNbMtDm6mGPFvri6XUBRiDSOJJXhOjgwUWdDKXwoMDNrtHjGWR6ng4GiIWkoteNn1nK3pZDOuJy_yh4XDmVKXEwhSKNC-BCIPkOAyM8T7ky_wjtYufm_q3Q/s1600/DSCF0013.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyh1Wev2lzlX4TJN4-fmslNbMtDm6mGPFvri6XUBRiDSOJJXhOjgwUWdDKXwoMDNrtHjGWR6ng4GiIWkoteNn1nK3pZDOuJy_yh4XDmVKXEwhSKNC-BCIPkOAyM8T7ky_wjtYufm_q3Q/s320/DSCF0013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5471152625186654290" /></a><br />Well, time to get posting again. It was a breath of Spring, which I really appreciated.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtA-DNdzgy1zanLUtBT1lPaWFW46rMw_9__txewyb50STWut1V2BAm0seA0QrxsU-6LNqnEUwwwR7CNM6iwAXZep6vM9ggFSGioItOItvA_ubAzLMim0EcW_tVyu3zrojEi9ff07iWfw/s1600/Ellie's+quilt.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtA-DNdzgy1zanLUtBT1lPaWFW46rMw_9__txewyb50STWut1V2BAm0seA0QrxsU-6LNqnEUwwwR7CNM6iwAXZep6vM9ggFSGioItOItvA_ubAzLMim0EcW_tVyu3zrojEi9ff07iWfw/s320/Ellie's+quilt.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5457808649311210786" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgavqaV4KPdBNLNyna9d7_36uvIyfUmzFKPEq8XQuv3EM6bZS9TqklBhp7edBrqdl5vq2GPSs0zeWO5mNoq8PsqmVnpQJVI1rL9ZOB4pyPdFTU_JFH5yNqRiFs__wXNeB_lefNJPyRUHQ/s1600/Ellie's+quilt+2.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5457802676623477090" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgavqaV4KPdBNLNyna9d7_36uvIyfUmzFKPEq8XQuv3EM6bZS9TqklBhp7edBrqdl5vq2GPSs0zeWO5mNoq8PsqmVnpQJVI1rL9ZOB4pyPdFTU_JFH5yNqRiFs__wXNeB_lefNJPyRUHQ/s320/Ellie's+quilt+2.JPG" /></a><br /><<br /><br />I also quilted a baby quilt for my youngest daughter's soon to be born baby. I was ill for three weeks, so I was getting itchy fingers! My husband made fun of me!! Can you imagine!<br />I finished a double wedding ring quilt for a customer. She wanted to use templates that her mother used. I thought they turned out really nice, and so did she! This quilt was for her bed and she was delighted!Gloryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10932159502392611757noreply@blogger.com2
